- You could try GoldEd (GED), which is very powerful (perhaps too much
- so...) especially for writing programs as it can be configured to
- recognise the syntax of the particular language, search through
- appropriate header files etc. Its a bit hard going though at the start,
- but is probably worth the effort, and is shareware (about 30 us dollars
- I think, but don`t quote me on that....), and is in aminet in:

- Also, you might want to try Xemacs, which is identical to the unix
- version (I assume). Although I haven`t tried the amiga version (though I
- keep meaning to download it), the unix version is very good and can be
- used to read e-mail and newsgroups and loads more. Its free, and is at
- aminet in directory:

- If these are no use (too large etc.) then have a general look in aminet
- in:
